REPORT: Possible "Transition Period" in WWE!
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was said to be more talk this week about Triple H taking more control at upcoming WWE TV tapings under his new role as a “Senior Advisor” under Vince McMahon. The belief is that he will get a much better feel this year of how things will operate when he is more in charge.
It should be noted that Stephanie McMahon isn’t traveling nearly as much as she used to spending more time raising her three children. While she remains on call, she isn’t in the office as much, isn’t traveling to TV as much and the belief is that it could be inevitable that Triple H could be the one running the company instead of her if and when Vince decides to step away with full power.
While that doesn’t seem like anything that would happen anytime soon, many are treating Triple H’s new role as a “transition period” within the company. Many sources have described the TV taping environments as being much more pleasant with Triple H running the show with little last minute changes to booking. It should also be noted that during this transition period, Michael Hayes and Brian Gewirtz seem to have more power with Stephanie not being involved as much as she was in the past.
Sean Waltman talks about attempting suicide.
Scott Fishman of The Miami Herald is featuring an interview with former WCW, WWE and TNA star Sean Waltman where he discusses in detail about trying to commit suicide.
“I was in Mexico for three years. When I was there, things got really bad. I got in a heated argument that turned into physicality with my girlfriend [Alicia Webb]. I ended up striking her back. I always told myself that I would die before I would hit a woman. So when I did that, I was overcome with guilt and shame. I had no tools to handle it. The only thing I could think of was take a whole bottle of Valium or what was left of the bottle. It was probably around 400 milligrams of Valium. I hung myself from the roof of my apartment. It was the darkest moment of my life, or one of them, to get me to do that. It was a lot of build up that I didn’t know how to deal with.”

WWE Star Denies Involvement in Shooting
WWE star The Great Khali has been linked to a shooting in India that happened on Friday — but the 7 foot superstar tells TMZ he had nothing to do with it.
According to varying reports, a bodyguard working for Khali allegedly fired shots into a crowd and reportedly injured three people. But Khali tells us, “I am deeply saddened to hear of this incident and am disappointed it has been incorrectly reported that I was involved. I had left my friend’s house a half an hour before the reported shooting took place and did not have any bodyguards with me. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people who were injured.” In addition to his wrestling career, Khali had small parts in “The Longest Yard,” “Get Smart,” and “MacGruber.”
